A network is a group of health care providers. It includes doctors, specialists, dentists, hospitals, surgical centers, and other facilities. Certain providers have entered into a contract with your insurance carrier. These network providers agree to accept the contract rate as full payment for covered services. You pay your coinsurance or copay along with your deductible. Out of Network benefits are available, but you will pay a lower cost by utilizing an in-network provider.
1. Visit UMR.com and select “Find a provider”
2. Type UnitedHealthcare Choice Plus Network into the Provider network search box
3. For medical providers, choose View Providers. You’ll be directed to the UHC website to find providers near you.
